Just started working in my studio on a group of paintings for 2019 and as always I begin with chaos. I need to sort the chaos out first to get some order. Lets see how it goes. I love the colours. 2019 is definitely going to be interesting.
Sad to say it’s the final day to see Tiramisu:Pick Me Up Exhibition, showing at The Wynd Gallery Letchworth SG6 3EN. From 10am till 5pm you can meet the artists Anja Penger-Onyett and Jill Taylor, whilst viewing their work.
Just started working for the one week show at the Wynd Gallery in September at which I will be exhibiting with Anja Penger-Onyett (ceramics) .
The work is based on my holiday in Canada where my family and I went camping and canoeing in the wild. This aroused some conflicting feelings which will hopefully show in the painting when it’s finished.
Not quite sure how it’s going to fit in with the title ‘Tiramisu pick me up’, but I’ll work that one out later.
Today was the first of three days of demostrations to mark Open Studios at the Eagle (21 May to June 14), starting with Joanna Stone, Jill Taylor and Sarah Janavicius. The event was great fun. We met and talked to lovely people who we hope went home inspired. And weather was amazing too.
Tomorrow you can see Nikki Wheatley painting with Wool Fibres from 11am – 1pm then Jo Spyropoulos using Water Colours and between 1pm – 3pm Anja Penger-Onyett, assembling a Ceramic Tulip.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Eagle Gallery, 101 Castle Road MK40 3PQ
I would like to say a big thank you to all the people (lots) who came and supported the Collaboration Exhibition at the Bunyan Museum Basement by the 4Colourways: Gerry Ewens, Sue Melville, Jill Taylor and Ilsa Woiwod. I was touched by all the kind and positive comments that were made over the week. Thank you for making it such a successful event. We will be exhibiting together again in the New year and I can’t wait to get started on our next adventure.
As you can see Collaboration No: 4 was very popular and has been sold and gone to a lovely home. Hope it gives you lots of inspiration.
